Many of these facilities will be members of the Self Storage Association (SSA). These self storage owners will often own the land and dwellings associated with their storage facilities. Many of these facilities are relatively new, with more than 25% of all self storage capacity in the United States being added in just the past 5 years. Mobile Storage
Portable or “mobile” storage is a relatively new storage option that has become increasingly popular with consumers and businesses. This is a flexible storage option in which the mobile storage provider actually delivers the storage unit to your requested location. You fill the storage unit and then choose whether to store it at your current location or have it transported to another location. These units are engineered for durability and security and in some cases can be used for moving household or business items across the country.
